Choosing Among Different Types of Gas Stoves

!: Choosing Among Different Types of Gas Stoves

It is definitely not easy being a parent or a cook. There are times when you are asked to cook up a feast to feed hungry mouths of a whole community - well, that is just an exaggeration. Whenever you are given the responsibility of cooking for big occasions, the most important factor is usually the space which you can work with to cook the dishes. For this, it is important to consider the different types of gas stoves (assuming that you are using gas cook stove for cooking).

Traditionally, gas stoves are limited only to big, medium, and small sizes. The only purpose that these different types of stoves have in common is to cook food (or maybe boil water as well). However, the types of gas stoves have increased in number over the years and it seems that with improvements in engineering, design, and technology in general, this increase in the types of gas cook stove will not be stopping anytime soon.

Just to give you an idea, here are three basic types of gas cook stoves:

Standard Gas Stove

A standard stove holds true to its name: there is no fancywork, no extra compartment, just a good old gas cooking stove with probably four basic furnace spots where you can cook.

Gas Stove with Oven

This kind of gas cook stove is probably the most multipurpose of all types of gas ranges since aside from having the regular furnace spots, it also comes with a gas oven underneath where you can bake your own cake, chicken, and so on.

Junior Gas Stove

If you have seen stoves that stand considerably shorter than a standard gas stove, then that is in a junior gas range. Nothing special about this except for the smaller space it consumes. A typical junior gas cook stove would have at least two furnace spots. Some junior gas cook stoves are now made portable so you can take them to outdoor trips.

Weed eaters are designed with a rotor at its pole end. It spins at high speed with the use of a nylon wire. It can cut even tall grasses and barks of trees. Most of these gas powered types weigh 9 to 14 pounds, having two engine strokes. This can start with ease and even run cleanly. However, it still needs to be pulled in order to create an exhaust emission and for tune-ups.

Determining the best gas powered weed eater as a supplement for lawn mowing is an effective strategy. Here are some ways you can consider:

o Decide what fits your lawn or garden needs. Assess the landscape. Consider how big the yard is. Gas powered weed eater are best for larger properties, especially in cutting down overgrown grasses and plants. A lower horse power weed eater can manage thin grasses also. These straight shaft trimmers can easily reach shrubs. This is while curved ones weigh less.

o Check its capabilities. In order to reduce fatigue, a lighter trimmer is the right choice. A good balance can be obtained by adjusting the handle in front. Checking for smooth controls can add an evenly distributed weight.

o Choose a smaller gap or protective sleeve. Wrapping around and cutting head tops with gaps on tall grass will slow down the use of weed eaters. Problems can be avoided with the use of a smaller gap around the shaft.

o Determine the needs of the weed eater parts. Gardeners can choose between nylon cords and plastic blades by the wacker blades. Nylon cords need frequent replacement while plastics can break easily. Both are inexpensive with effective usage.

o Choose a more quiet type motor. Some gas powered trimmers are noisy and may require you to wear hearing protection. Many manufacturers are introducing quiet-running engines already.

o Consider the brand models in the market. Manufacturers of weed eaters can present a wide array of professional but budget friendly features in the marketplace. Big names include Weed Eater/Poulan, Ryobi, Homelite and Craftsman. Weed Eater, Poulan and Poulan Pro product lines can give the best value, with outmost quality and durability.
